"Elebration"

Hello...Today I would love to share with you two cards stamped with the supercute image "Elebration". This lovely little elephant is perfect for new baby cards and celebration cards for young children.
"Elebration" is one of the "A la Carte" single image stamps available from Stampin' Up.
The image is perfect for colouring....I stamped the image with Stazon onto SU watercolour cardstock and using a watercolour pen and My ink pads ( Ink squished onto the lid of the pads) I gradually added colour and shading. Once dry I added more dimension to the image with Crystal Effects.
I layered the images onto Marina Mist (Boy) and Blushing Bride cardstock and added a DSP from the Nursery Nest collection. I finished both cards with tags in matching cardstock and a Whisper White Satin Ribbon Bow. The sentiment came from the "Bundle of Love" stamp set.
Hope you like them....x

Garden Party

Hello and Good Morning....Today I would like to share with you a DL size card I made one evening this week. I have been playing with Stampin Up! punches again to create a cute little picket style fence....I used the "Word Window." punch and then trimmed off the ends......the bunting was  made from the "Pennant Punch"...the original punch outs were too big so I cut them down by hand.
The stamped floral climber images came from "Hopeful Thoughts" and the sentiment from the hostess set "Happiest Birthday Wishes".
I finished off this little garden party scene by adding "Itty Bitty punch" flowers and some rhinestone jewels.

I used In Colours Pool Party, Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade to co ordinate with the lovely "Everyday Enchantment" paper (sorry it was only available during SAB).

All supplies used are from Stampin Up! and only available from a Demonstrator..if you are interested in purchasing any of these items or would like a catalogue please contact me at alison@jonric.co.uk
Enjoy your Day...

Scallop Envelope Treat Boxes

Happy Easter!
Just a quick scheduled post to show you two treat boxes I made to house chocolate bunnies for Izzy & Olly
They were very easy to make using SU scallop envelope die (Cut 2 Pieces) and two strips of card with an oval punch out as a handle. A punch art Rabbit and a Chick were made to decorate the boxes. I really like the cute bunny tail on the back.!
Enjoy your day

Bordering on Romance Bleach Technique

Hello and Good Morning..I hope you are enjoying your Easter Holidays. Having Izzy home from school usually means I have even less time to Craft :0( ....but thankfully yesterday Jon took the children off my hands for a couple of hours while I had a play with the stamp set Bordering on Romance (from the New Summer Mini Catalogue avail 1st May-31st Aug). I also tried out a new technique- Bleaching. You can find a great tutorial here www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/bleached_out_images/P20/
I used Calypso Coral cardstock and embossed the image with white embossing powder. I then "un-coloured" (is there such a word!!) the image with a blender pen dipped in a tiny amount of household bleach. When dry re-coloured the image using a Watercolour Pen and the ink pads Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade. I then highlighted the Image with a layer of Crystal Effects. I added Poly stitched ribbon in Poppy Parade and finally added a sentiment from "You're a Gem" stamp set (SU Spring Mini Catalogue). I am really pleased with the end result and will be trying out this technique again!
Now I would like another couple of hours so I can make some Easter Baskets for our little egg hunt tomorrow.....x
